D-Backs Fancast

Hello one and all

First of all my apologies for the lack of fancasts recently.

As some of you may know, I was a journalism student at a university here in the UK but now that the semester has ended I’m back home, some five hours away from most of the equipment/facilities I used for the fancast.

At this point in time I have no firm idea of when and if I’ll be able to resurect the cast. I’m cautiously optimistic I will be able to revive it but I can’t give you a date right now.

For now, thanks to everyone for the support thus far and I hope to have more news soon.

Coming up in today’s fancasts Jim McLennan from the Arizona Snakepit joins me to discuss the departure of D-Backs manager Bob Melvin.

We also look at the rest of the NL West which this week saw one of it’s best players suspended for fifty games.

We have a guest recapper in the guise of Jenny Mitchell who looks back at the D-Backs series with the Brewers, Dodgers and Padres.

Finally we take a quick look at the D-Backs minor league sides.

Hello,

This is the first in what I hope will be a weekly look at the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team.  The show will combine reports from the games alongside audio courtesty of KTAR 620 previews of games to come, and debate over team issues with contributors including Jim McLennan who runs the Arizona Snakepit Blog.

This first episode takes a look at the Diamondbacks opening series vs the Colorado Rockies and looks ahead to the weekend matchup against the LA Dodgers. Jim McLennan joins me from the Arizona Snakepit We take a look round the rest of the NL West, and also review some of the key moves over the winter and spring.
